Team Cyberdo is a 4 man adventure racing team that will be competing at the Adventure Racing World Championships (ARWC) to be held in Tasmania in late 2011.

Australia won the hosting rights for the Adventure Racing World Championships in 2011 amongst solid representations from European events. The bid by Australia’s XPD Expedition Race was successful through strong support from the Tasmanian Government.

The Adventure Racing World Series is an international circuit of premiere adventure races in 10 countries culminating every 12 months in the Adventure Racing World Championships.

Team Cyberdo are committed to raising awareness of Adventure Racing and the Adventure Racing World Series in particular. We are also using the event to support an Australian Charity by the name of Hope Empowered.

HOPE EMPOWERED

Team Cyberdo is proudly supporting a great Australian Charity by the name of Hope Empowered. Established in 1999, Hope Empowered has worked with numerous communities and thousands of people who face significant barriers to success.

Hope Empowered exists to:

• Enable people to connect with and strengthen one another
• Empower people who are experiencing poverty and disadvantage
• Equip people for fullness of life

Hope Empowered works on a range of important projects aimed at preventing human trafficking, supporting single mothers, educating and inspiring young entrepreneurs and providing paid work placement and training opportunities for young people facing significant barriers to success.

We have received a number of generous pledges in support of the wonderful work being done by Hope Empowered. These pledges total AUD$100,000. 100% of the funds will be donated directly to Hope Empowered.
